Commander Pigo

Commander Pigo is the second in command to Lord Marmoo, and also his brother. He's pretty much the shortest of the Scorpions (compared to upwards of 91/2 feet, like for Marmoo, he comes in at just a little over 7 ft tall). He's kind of hunched, no neck, but he gets the evil job done. I was the Lead Character Artist on the film project for Kulipari: Army of Frogs, as well as the Production Designer, maintaining the art style across all departments. I did everything on this character, from concept and sculpt, to final texturing, to clothing and accessories. Tried to incorporate elements from the 2D animated version of this character (and all of the characters), as call-backs to fans and just to see how much of the original designs we could carry over, even in this hyper real version. His scar on his face, the green sashes they start out with, redesigning the scorpion symbols, as examples. The Scorpion type I based him on was labeled a "Redclaw" Scorpion, though its colors are more overall iridescent grayish purple, with grayish-to-slight purple skin, which is very much the color of him on the show.
